Lighting in the space

Pinnacle’s refurbishment gave The Forest School a media-inspired learning room with curved workstations, collaborative tables and acoustic booths for quieter study. The dark grey ceiling is paired with light grey hexagonal acoustic panels edged by LED strip lighting, making the ceiling a prominent feature of the space.

Calibo’s contribution was all the lighting. The illuminated acoustic features help give the room its distinctive identity, while the wider lighting serves teaching, group work and individual use. The project imagery shows the completed environment and the relationship between light, furniture and acoustic treatment.
