Lighting in the space

The project reshaped a former staff building into a Sixth Form Centre, refreshed the library as a study hub and created a new staff facility. Across these uses, the lighting forms part of an environment intended for independent study, quieter collaboration and day-to-day staff work.

TaskSpace developed the wider scheme with input from students and staff, including choices around colour, fabrics, acoustics and finishes. Calibo’s confirmed role was all the lighting. The lighting contributes across the Sixth Form Centre, library and staff facility, serving the different ways each space is used.
