Hovarda

Lighting in the space

Hovarda brings dining and a lively bar atmosphere to the Canary Wharf waterfront. The interior takes its cues from the Aegean coast, with warm tones and textured finishes. Populous describes lighting that harmonises with the setting sun, an important part of the venue’s transition from dinner into late-night use.

Calibo’s contribution was all the lighting. The scheme is presented here as part of the wider interior delivered by Populous Design & Build, which transformed the raw shell into a multi-faceted hospitality space. The published project image offers a view of the warm, layered atmosphere; individual fittings and their specification have not been identified.
